From the front of the dishwasher, fifteen month old you grabs the magnetic letters ‘G’ and ‘O’ and you GO. 

When you’re twelve, eighteen, twenty two, you’ll roll your eyes at us as we endlessly tell that to family, friends. 

We’ll retell it anyway, not to embarrass you, but to affirm how incredible, how unstoppable you’ve been right from the start. 

When you’re older, maybe with a son of your own, you’ll get it, because you’ll already see the man he will become, like I see the man you will become… Wise. Strong. Kind. Thoughtful. Unstoppable.
