When I first loved you, I thought the strength of my love had found its end.
But the days went up and my love went up too.
Under live oak limbs you said you’d marry me and I knew I could not love you more.
But the months opened up and my love opened up too.
As you brought our son into the world I knew my love had reached its limit.
But the years unfold like blooms and my love unfolds too.
And today I know without a doubt that I’ll love you more tomorrow and every next tomorrow.
