ABOUT ME

Matthew has recently been published for the first time. That fills him with excitement, gratitude, and if he's being honest, panic.

Most of what he writes is speculative fiction / science fiction even though the first thing he's had published is straight-forward literary fiction. He's blissfully ignoring that fun fact and will continue focusing on writing what he enjoys writing most.

Matthew is the COO of Shannon Brinkley Studio, an online quilting education business that he co-runs with his wife. He is also the creator, writer, and illustrator of the online comic, Dear Grandma.

He lives in Leesburg, VA with his wife, Shannon, their son, Davin, and their dog, Maggie. He spends most of his spare time working on his first novel and worrying.
